Freelish (Proposed ISO 639-3: frl/fls) is a systematically optimized constructed language that bridges the gap between East-Asian fluid structures and global English-derived lexicons.

Linguistic Innovations of Freelish
Zero Verb Inflections
Conjugations are completely abolished. Verbs remain strictly in their absolute root form.
SVO / SOV Fluidity
Complete syntactic freedom. Native speakers of SVO or SOV choose their preferred intuitive path with 'va' marking.
The Regular 'gaz' Plural
Irregular plurals and consonant mutations are replaced by the simple, clean suffix 'gaz'.
Grammar & System Specification v1.0
Freelish completely eliminates morphological friction. All grammatical relationships are established using invariant particles instead of historical mutations.
1. The Invariant Verb Principle
Verbs never change. Tense and Aspect are designated using invariant markers before the root verb:
Pastdid + speak
Presentspeak
Futurewill + speak
2. Absolute Syntax Freedom (SVO & SOV)
To facilitate global learning, speakers can use either Subject-Verb-Object or Subject-Object-Verb layouts. The object marker 'va' keeps sentences completely free of ambiguity.
SVO: Student read book va.
SOV: Student book va read.
3. Universal Regularized Plural
Abolishing irregular mutations. Append the marker 'gaz' directly to any singular noun phrase.
Child →child gaz (Children)
Friend →friend gaz (Friends)

In Review
Current Tracking Case: CRID 1884
Formally registered with SIL International. The FLC is actively responding to registrar inquiries regarding user communities and grammatical classifications.
Registrar: Janell Nordmoe
Authority: SIL Global (iso639-3.sil.org)
Proposal Scope: Constructed Language (Conlang)
Why ISO 639-3 and not ISO 639-2?
ISO 639-2 is restricted to highly active historical literary languages. ISO 639-3 encompasses all modern, ancient, and systematically engineered constructed languages (Conlangs), making it the correct legal target for Freelish.
